Niagara School of Music is the Premier drum lessons program in the Niagara region!

What styles of drums do you teach?

Our drum instructors teach all styles, from rock and metal to pop, jazz, funk, country, blues and classical.

How qualified are your drum instructors?

Our drum instructor has over 20 years of experience, not only playing and recording in various venues but also teaching and finding ways to relate to the students and teach the foundation of drumming through theory and notation.

What will I learn from drum lessons at Niagara School of Music?

Our instructor states that once you know how to read the drum music, you can apply that and start playing basic beats that evolve into more complex beats and patterns, turning into full songs where you learn about song structure, drum fills and more.

Do I need to purchase a drum kit to learn the drums?

Definitely not. Our professional, drum lesson rooms at Niagara School of Music are equipped with a drum kit for our student and one for the teacher. Just bring your drum sticks and a notebook. Beginning students can practice at home with a drum pad and sticks.
